PROJECT 2

Carry forward from project 1, which is the key artwork we did in the previous project, we have to make an poster to showcase The Troublemakers Manifesto: A Design Colloquium and with 2 collateral items of the manifesto.

I tried different layouts of placing the key artwork and the information given into the poster. I tried with laying out with typographic systems and after getting feedback from Mr Vinod, I got to work on the hierarchy and some alignment consideration of the information.

FEEDBACK

PROJECT 2
Feedback 1: As for the poster, alignment should always align to an object or something from the poster. Tried to change the some alignment for the top part of the text.
Feedback 2: The text is lack of hierarchy. Use italic and bold to create hierarchy for the top part of the content.

REFLECTION

EXPERIENCE
In this project, I have experienced how to design and produce printed artworks.

OBSERVATIONS
I observed that it is very important to stay consistency to maintain the same theme of the artworks.

FINDINGS
I found that consistency in this artwork is very important. Taking the visual elements and the main colours to consistently design.

Texture
Typography is only one design element used in combination with images, diagrams, photography and other graphics. Type forms part of a larger visual arrangement. The wide range of available types means that the type can be used to add a lot of texture to a design, as shown in the examples in this spread.

What is typograms?
A typograms refers to the deliberate use of typography to express an idea visually, but by incorporating something more than just the letters that constitute the word.
