Feedback:
Logo week 8-13: * This version but the A is still awkward. Try it out as the same typeface as BEGINS instead of the script typeface. The spacing and distance between must be considered. Look at bottom idea for comparison. ** Try changing the script typeface to the one in previous idea.
Logo week 8-14: * Still think this can work. Again it’s the A that needs to be further explored. Position is good but maybe try a few variation on size. Bigger to smaller. Stroke weight of bounding circle should match stroke weight of lettering script for ‘beauty’.
Logo week 8-15: * Match A typeface to BEGINS. Try it in the same size so leaving ‘beauty’ as the main focus. Space the dots further from script and word mark. Try a variation of spacing. Equal to close, etc.
Brand book: Content is not complete. There are still lots of aspects of brand book not considered. Please try to complete this so that you can proceed to executing the ideas. Sketches of brand book layout is also welcomed.
Work progress is quite limited this week. No sketches done for stationery. Please try to show more progress on next review.

Logo chosen in this week. The products design have to keep in mind what is the brand value instead of just coming out with different ideas. Content and layout have to start executing.
As for my name card, the idea of rectangle in sketch 2 might be too cramp, the idea of square
is much better. However, now the logo has been chosen, so have to consider more how to manage
the space when the size of the logo applied on the square business card. Moreover, the envelope might have to consider the space to place the address. Also, to consider about the envelope, how could the envelope be recognized by looking only the envelope other than colours. Overall, for the the layout ideas for the products try to be more consistent. Refine the idea to be more concrete.

Envelope: The frame push in a bit and the thickness of the stroke be consistent. The type setting of the envelope and the letterhead has to tone down a bit. 
Letter: In the letter, add in the signature and change the type which related to my design/selected/ secondary typeface. At the bottom of the letter, try to keep the address at the center. Consider everything to placed in the center. 
Name card: Keep the frame like how the letterhead and the the envelope designed. Layout again the address on the name card and consider how to break down the information and reduce the point size.

Voucher: Place the logo on the top. At the back, maybe can put terms and condition (validation). 

Brand book: Put brand guidelines on the cover of the book. Image all use TIFF. For the logo section, add in 'clear space' like how this brand logo has to be placed and used when applying. Also, talk about the typefaces. Moreover. add the colour code. Facial treatment and classes section should be under the section of brand story but they are not relevant in brand book, brand vision also, has to be under brand story section. After everything is done, next section is application showcase. After that, Photoshop how your logo executed and applied into different appliances. 


Video: The tagline can change to become "Be more Be confident". People have to know where this beauty center can be found or contacted. So at the end of the video maybe can put address or our official website instead of email (change also in the name card and letterhead).


REFLECTION

Experiences
I have experienced that how to propose a brand and which direction should I start to think about when establishing a brand.

Observations
I observed that there are much more things I have to learn after looking at other course mates presentation because when we are presenting our brand, we should present anything and everything that is related and supporting our brand. Do not simplify.

Findings
After doing all the brand building, researching and presenting, I found that this project has help me more understand how to apply what we have learned and how to combine the logo analysis we did before and also the sketches.

In this book, it start off by differentiating logos and brands. Logo is an image; the complementary elements and application decisions form a program; and the perception created by the picture and the program form the visual center of the brand.

Logo can be created by looking at shapes and patterns or texture surrounding us. It can be very effective to take shapes from a graphic.
